My Response

Never shall I forget...

"I believe that anyone who lived through an experience is duty bound to bear witness to it."
-Elie Wiesel

Elie Wiesel's Night, although a novel, is most often read as a first hand autobiography of his Holocaust experience.  For many years to come, it will continue to facsinate all who read the powerful words contained within its pages.  It marks the first step in Wiesel's lifelong project to bear witness for those who died in the Holocaust.
